Meet sweet baby “B”. She was already 4 weeks old when we photographed her session but she was a lovely angel who modeled perfectly. She is a very easy going and good natured baby, and after getting to know her mommy and daddy it is easy to understand where she gets those qualities.

I did not get a chance to blog any images from the maternity session so I thought I would make this a before and after post. We photographed the maternity session on New Years Eve and what a great start to the New Year it was. Mom is a natural in front of the camera and it was so evident that mom and dad both were really excited about all that was to come.

This was a favorite of mine from the maternity session. I love the light and tones.

A smile!! She was one of the most smiley newborns I have met yet. Not only when she was sleeping but when she was wide awake, she would smile over and over in response to whomever was talking to her. She is a very happy little girl.

She is a gorgeous little girl. Love this.

And just one wide awake one, this shot was requested by mom and dad and worked out wonderfully. This bowl is definitely one of my most requested props and I love how the images turn out every time.

This family has been with me for quite some time, this was their 8th maybe 9th session since hiring me 3 years ago to photograph their first baby. I had the absolute privilege of getting to photograph him through his first year and now we are repeating the same with his gorgeous baby sister. Here she is all of 4 months old, and lucky for us her 4 month session took place just before her big brothers 3rd birthday so we were able to incorporate some nice updated images of him as well.

Such gorgeous little kidlets, although I happen to think I get to photograph the most beautiful children in Calgary all the time

He utterly adores his baby sister. Always giving her kisses and wanting to be close to her. She is a lucky girl!

could she be any sweeter…and look at all that wonderful hair! I think she almost has more than my Etain who is almost 16 months.

Happy Birthday M, you are a super awesome little guy and I always have fun photographing you!

Wow, I can hardly believe that a whole year has gone by since photographing little”M” as a teeny tiny newborn shown here. How I LOVE having my babies come back to see me as they grow. I call them my babies because I adore each and every one of them, and feel so lucky to get to watch them as they grow and create these memories of who they are for mom and dad.

She is so full of life! Her expressions had be cracking up the whole session, and even while I sit and edit her images I can’t help but laugh out loud when looking at them.

It was really hard to choose just a couple to share, I LOVE them all

Just look at those eye, and all that hair! Those sweet little cheeks….she is so completely adorable!

I can’t help but laugh when I see this image….look at her hand, and that expression…..such a little attitude already…lol

This one warms my heart. Is it not obvious how much she is adored by her parents?! and she knows it too!
