For Septembers installment of the blog carousel we decided on the theme “hope”. Recently a friend and fellow photographer was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. She was already at stage 3 when she was diagnosed and sadly, that is pretty common since this type of cancer rarely presents any signs or symptoms until its further along. Jen has started a blog, you can find that here, if you would like to follow her along on her journey as she battles this disease. Fair warning though, make sure you have tissue ready!
September is also Ovarian cancer awareness month. I want to dedicate this post to Jen, as well as Lillie, the young daughter of another photographer who is also battling cancer. I also want to dedicate this post to all others out there battling any kind of life threatening disease.
Hope – never let go!
